Overview
The Town is developing a comprehensive Communications Strategy to improve and strengthen communication and public engagement with residents. The Communications Strategy is being developed by the Town's Communications Division in partnership with the Community Communications Advisory Committee.
The five-year Communications Strategy will serve as a strategic document to guide communication efforts between the Town and residents regarding Town business and operations.
The process of developing the Communications Strategy began in late 2019, however, the project was delayed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Town Staff and the Community Communications Advisory Committee have reviewed and updated the plan and timelines to ensure that the completion of the strategy is expedited.
How can you help? Take the Public Survey
To develop a successful Communications Strategy, the Town has launched a public survey to gain feedback from residents and stakeholders.
The survey results will be reviewed by the Community Communications Advisory Committee and Town Staff and will be integral in the creation of a comprehensive Communications Strategy.
To complete the survey online, please click on the survey link located at the bottom of this page.Paper copies of the survey will be available at Town Hall and at The Blue Mountains Public Library Branch. The deadline to complete the survey is Sunday, October 25, 2020.

Mountains is in the process of developing a Corporate Communications Strategy
that will guide the Towns communication efforts through 2020 – 2025. Public
feedback and input from residents are essential to ensure that the Town utilizes
the most effective and efficient methods of communication.
The survey closes on Sunday, October 25, 2020.
The survey consists of seven sections and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
